A workshop about "Bioinformatics training initiatives in Spain" will be held on the afternoon of Thursday, February 14th. The workshop will be a forum to present and discuss the different training initiatives (e-learning, courses, masters on Science, ...) currently active or on prospect in Spain.

The event will consist in short communications with a 10 + 5 minutes format, followed by a final discussion to extract common interests and to create future synergies in bioinformatics training in Spain. The meeting is intended to be dynamic and speakers are expected to show their succesful stories but also their failures and frustrated expectations if any. We aim at opening a fruitful debate that may lead to a better organization and dissemination through a collaborative environment of our community training activities.
